Brass is back and in full force, adorning bar carts, office supplies, and even kitchen cabinets and dressers. One of my favorite ways to incorporate the finish into a space is by adding brass hardware to furniture- heirloom or otherwise, for the perfect touch of expensive looking detail. Today, one of my instructors was kind enough to gift me a vintage steam trunk (so incredibly sweet of her) since she knows I love vintage and antique items. It needs a little TLC, so I plan on thrifting some pretty wall paper to cover and line the drawers on the inside and using it as a coffee table by using trays or cutting a piece of glass for the top to protect the surface. But until then here are some inspiration images of homes decorated with beautiful antique trunks. Enjoy!
